The timing of surgery for a deviated septum needs to be determined by the symptoms of a deviated septum and there is no strict time requirement. Deviated septum surgery is required if the following indications for surgery exist. A deviated septum is a deviation of one or both sides of the septum, or a localized bulge. Some people do not have any symptoms, while others will experience nasal congestion, nosebleeds, headaches, sinusitis, tinnitus, and snoring. When the diagnosis of deviated septum is clear and the patient has obvious symptoms of nasal congestion, headache, nosebleed or sinusitis; when allergic rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis with deviated septum are ineffective in conservative treatment; and when deviated septum affects the surgical operation and postoperative effect of endonasal endoscopic rhinosinus surgery, then the septum will be corrected. Generally take the nasal septum submucosal resection, septoplasty, nasal septum correction surgery. Nasal septum deviation need to go to the hospital first for further examination, and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
