In some cases, the left inguinal hernia may also cause local pain after ejaculation due to the increase in abdominal pressure and the aggravation of the hernia. In other cases, inflammation of the reproductive system, such as left-sided vesiculitis, vasovaginitis, or previous orchitis, epididymitis, testicular calculi, or prostatitis, may cause local pain during and after sperm discharge after sexual intercourse. Patients should first check the ultrasound to determine if there are any anatomical abnormalities, and also check the semen routine to determine if there is any pathogenic infection in the semen. Once infectious factors are found, timely anti-inflammatory and symptomatic treatment will cure the symptoms.
