The steps of IVF are generally divided into three major areas: first, pre-operative examinations, which generally determine the suitability for IVF and the generations of IVF based on the pre-IVF examinations of both men and women. For common tests, the female side includes ovarian function, fallopian tubes and uterine cavity examination. On the male side, the main tests include sperm function tests, chromosome tests, and tests for sexually transmitted diseases. Secondly, if all the tests are qualified and in line with the IVF process, a dossier will be built before the medication is administered, and after the dossier is built, an ovulation promotion program will be developed for the female partner, while the male partner will need to regulate his semen through medication and give certain treatment. Thirdly, egg retrieval is usually done after the follicles of ovulation are matured, and the sperm is retrieved from the male partner on the day of egg retrieval to form embryos, and if blastocysts can be formed, they will be transferred on the fifth day.
