Gastrointestinal tumors start with the stomach and work down, first the stomach tumors, then the small intestine. The small intestine is divided into duodenum, jejunum, ileum, and then the large intestine, which is divided into colon and rectum. To summarize, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum tumors are our gastrointestinal tumors. There may be a part of us that would like to know if esophageal tumors are counted or not, and if liver, gallbladder, spleen and pancreas are counted as gastrointestinal tumors.
