Double rows of teeth (clinically known as “retained milk teeth”) are recommended to be extracted as soon as they are detected.
Retained milk teeth is one of the most common diseases in pediatric dentistry, which is usually caused by malabsorption of milk teeth roots, abnormal eruption of permanent teeth or inflammation of milk teeth root tips; its main symptoms include the eruption of permanent teeth without milk teeth falling out, so that the milk teeth and permanent teeth grow side by side, which is commonly known as double rows of teeth.
Once double rows of teeth are found, it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time to remove them, i.e. under the operation of the dentist, the retained milk teeth will be extracted with extraction tools; if the retained milk teeth are not extracted in time, it will lead to the symptoms of ectopic eruption of the permanent teeth and misalignment of the occlusal relationship, which will lead to the need for orthodontic treatment in serious cases.
