Letting babies cry too much may cause hernia, gastrointestinal dysfunction, throat injury and other hazards to babies.
1. Hernia: when the baby is allowed to cry too much, it may cause the baby’s abdominal pressure to increase; and the baby’s abdominal wall muscles are relatively weak, thus inducing a hernia.
2. Gastrointestinal dysfunction: As babies hyperventilate when crying, air may enter the gastrointestinal tract, leading to gastrointestinal dysfunction.
3. Throat damage: when the baby is allowed to cry too much, it may cause the mucous membrane of the throat to become congested and edematous, which may lead to the baby’s throat pain, difficulty in swallowing and other symptoms.
Letting the baby cry too fiercely may also have other effects on the baby, parents should be dealt with in a timely manner to avoid harming the baby’s organism because of the permissive behavior.
