Gallbladder polyps with stones are considered as high risk factors for gallbladder cancer and need surgical treatment, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy is generally recommended. Risk factors for gallbladder cancer include gallbladder stones with polyps, gallbladder polyps with diameter >1cm, solitary gallbladder polyps, gradual enlargement of polyps, thickening of gallbladder cancer, and patient’s age >60 years old. If the patient has the above risk factors or symptoms such as abdominal pain and dyspepsia, cholecystectomy can be performed after excluding psychiatric disorders and gastrointestinal disorders, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy is generally recommended at present.
