Sinus tachycardia for two days and how to treat it

Sinus tachycardia for two days may be caused by physiological factors, asymptomatic generally do not need treatment, heart disease caused by this condition needs to be treated by medication (such as metoprolol), surgical treatment and other ways of treatment.
1. Drug therapy: patients can use drugs such as metoprolol to slow down the heart rate and reduce myocardial oxygen consumption; use drugs such as nifedipine and diltiazem to slow down the heart rate and reduce the onset of angina pectoris; and when the above drug therapy is not effective, drugs such as ivabradine can be used for treatment.
2. Surgical treatment: It can be treated by catheter radiofrequency ablation to improve myocardial electrical activity characteristics and relieve sinus tachycardia; when the condition is serious, it can be treated by surgery.
Sinus tachycardia patients should consult the doctor for treatment in time and strictly follow the doctor’s instructions for medication.
