The term “reproductive organs” refers to the penis, and obesity has nothing to do with the length of the penis itself.
Short penis is mainly caused by abnormal secretion of gonadotropins, primary small penis, hypospadias and other factors, while obesity does not affect the length of the penis. Obese patients have a thickening of the fat layer in the pubic area, resulting in the penis being hidden in the fat layer and visually appearing short, which is clinically known as cryptorchid penis.
Therefore, obesity has nothing to do with the length of the penis itself. Under normal circumstances, after the patient loses weight, the penis can be exposed normally. If the penis still cannot be exposed after weight loss, then the patient may have penile hypospadias, which needs to be treated with penile orthopedic surgery.
Patients with symptoms of penile hypospadias are advised to go to regular hospitals to find out the cause of the disease under the guidance of the doctor and treat the symptoms.
