What to do if you have prickly heat on your back

Prickly heat on the back can be relieved by general treatment and medication.
1. General treatment: Prickly heat is caused by the blockage of sweat gland ducts when the skin is in a hot and humid environment, resulting in the appearance of small pimples and blisters. It is recommended to keep the indoor environment ventilated and cool, wear breathable and loose clothes, avoid scratching the skin and reduce friction; eat a light diet and avoid spicy and stimulating food. After general treatment, the symptoms of mild cases can disappear naturally.
2. Medication: patients with severe symptoms, or those who do not see any improvement after general treatment, can use medication, such as topical glycerine lotion, peppermint and other cooling and anti-itching preparations, topical dinexed cream, hydrocortisone cream and other hormonal medications, and oral loratadine, cetirizine and other antihistamine medications for anti-itching treatment.
It is recommended that patients with serious symptoms of prickly heat on the back, or those who do not see any improvement after general treatment, should seek timely medical treatment, standardize the treatment under the guidance of the doctor, and avoid using medication privately, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
