Goals of treatment for dry syndrome

At present, human wisdom is not enough to turn the desert into the water town of Jiangnan, but we can make an oasis continue to be our resting home through environmental protection, climate regulation, afforestation, water and soil conservation, reasonable production and living arrangements, etc. Similarly, dry syndrome is a chronic disease, we can’t completely “cure” the “dryness”, but through reasonable treatment, terminate or control abnormal immune reaction, protect internal organs and reduce the occurrence of tumors. We can achieve the purpose of symptom relief, pain and trouble reduction or elimination, basic recovery of body functions, reduction and stability of visceral lesions, work and study as usual, and satisfactory quality of life. Among the thousands of patients we have seen over the years, although most of them can achieve the above treatment goals, there are still a few patients who are still not satisfied with the results because they are not detected in time, or they do not adhere to the treatment, or their disease is stubborn, or there is damage to the vital organs. It has always been the goal of the rheumatology community to find more appropriate treatment options (i.e., those with better results and fewer side effects). Many patients may be interested in the topic of “the best treatment plan”, but the fact is that each patient, male or female, young or old, has had the disease for different lengths of time, has different degrees of severity, and faces different problems, so there is no single plan that is “the best plan No single program is the “best program”. The best solution is the one that maximizes the effect, minimizes the side effects, is tailored to the individual, and combines traditional and new treatment measures.
