Strictly speaking, acupuncture is only a specific technique of Chinese medicine, and it does not belong to the same level as the method of regulating the spirit and the method of regulating the form. The era of the Neijing coincided with the watershed of the transition of the mainstream of Chinese medicine from the method of attuning the spirit to the method of attuning the form, and although acupuncture and attuning the spirit were repeatedly elaborated and praised in the Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine, they were already the last extant song of the method of attuning the spirit. After the two Han Dynasty, the method of tuning the spirit (including acupuncture and tuning the spirit) was no longer mentioned, and gradually faded out of the vision of Chinese medicine practitioners. In view of this, I have written an article to explain the technical feasibility of acupuncture and tuning the spirit, and to remind all the aspirants engaged in the clinical practice of acupuncture and moxibustion not to forget the “road to the top” that once existed. The origins of the method of attunement to the spirit began in the prehistoric period before the rise of needles and stones, before the rise of soup and liquid, and was entrusted to various forms of sorcery (including the familiar Zhuyuji) evolved over the generations, and the final glory rested on the acupuncture in the era of the Internal Canon of Medicine. (Any Chinese medicine professional knows that the Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine is essentially a monograph on acupuncture and moxibustion, and that the formation of tonics and prescriptions took shape after the Eastern Han Dynasty’s Treatise on Typhoid Miscellaneous Diseases.) The earliest meaning of “adjusting the form” was simple and clear: it was the so-called “coarse and conservative form” of treating pus and ulcers by pricking them, releasing bruises and blood, and draining oedema, and so on. Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine discussed throughout the nine needles of the art, and since then acupuncture and shape relying on the meridian theory, step by step development to the present day. In all fairness, now the needle shape method and the Neijing era of “rough work under the art of the Shi” is far away, is the road to the introduction of acupuncture, modern medical knowledge and theory and acupuncture shape there is no essential contradiction between the combination of relative harmony, the results are also very fruitful, as a doctor should learn and use, I personally respect the “non-invasive acupoints”, “non-invasive acupoints”, “non-invasive acupoints”, “non-invasive acupoints”, “non-invasive acupoints”, “non-invasive acupoints”, “non-invasive acupoints”. I personally respect the “non-invasive acupuncture point embedding” and “stimulating pain point acupuncture therapy” is one of the typical. There are specific reasons for the demise of the method of tuning the spirit, which is also the scope of application of acupuncture and tuning the spirit of the method and the efficacy of the difference, to be discussed in another article later. In conclusion, I would like to say that although acupuncture is only a therapeutic medium, its greatest advantage lies in its ability to be a vehicle for both attunement of the mind and attunement of the form, and it is a medical technique that can be studied throughout one’s life.
