Stroke is a Chinese medicine diagnosis, and when analyzed from a neurological perspective, it is a cerebrovascular accident, which is often divided into ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes. How long a patient with a cerebrovascular accident lives depends largely on the severity of the cerebrovascular accident. If it is a spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by an intracranial aneurysm, the treatment is prompt and the intracranial aneurysm is treated surgically, most patients can survive normally. In the case of massive cerebral hemorrhage and massive cerebral infarction, the condition is serious, with severe limb hemiparesis and altered consciousness, and even requires surgical treatment, with a relatively short survival cycle of prolonged bed rest or vegetative survival after surgery. If there is very little cerebral hemorrhage or mild cerebral infarction, with only slight hemiplegia, the survival cycle is basically the same as normal.
