The medication for the presence of high red blood cells in urine routine mainly depends on the cause of high red blood cells, and the appropriate medication is chosen according to the cause. If it is caused by physiological reasons such as after strenuous exercise, it can turn negative after rest and does not need special treatment. If it is caused by pathologic reasons such as kidney disease, urinary tract infection, urinary stones, etc., it needs to be treated according to the cause. 1. Physiological reasons: if normal people who usually have less exercise, it may lead to high red blood cells after suddenly increasing the exercise, but this is only transient, and it can be changed to negative after resting, and usually does not need oral drug treatment. 2. Pathologic causes: (1) Renal disease: such as glomerulonephritis may manifest as hematuria, proteinuria, hypertension and edema, etc., and high urinary erythrocytes appear. If necessary, glucocorticoids such as prednisone and cytotoxic drugs such as cyclophosphamide can be applied for treatment. (2) Urinary tract infection: common cystitis, pyelonephritis, etc. Inflammation stimulates bladder mucosal erosion and bleeding, causing high urine erythrocytes. Anti-infection treatment such as levofloxacin and cefuroxime can be applied for treatment. (3) Urinary stones: stones can be formed in the kidney, ureter and bladder, and the friction of the stones on the mucous membrane leads to bleeding, which may lead to high urine erythrocytes. It can be treated with oral stone removal granules, lithotripsy and surgery. All of the above medications should be used under doctor’s supervision, avoid self-medication. There may be other reasons for the high red blood cells in urine routine, so we suggest that the patient go to the regular hospital in time, complete the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment or therapy under the guidance of the doctor.
