The fourth-generation targeted drugs for lung cancer that are likely to be available in 2023 include BLU-701, BLU-945, Poziotinib, CLN-081, and Lazertinib, which are still in the clinical study stage and have preliminary study data but have not yet been approved for indications. BLU-701 and BLU-945, two targeted drugs, are mainly used for lung cancer patients who have developed resistance to the third-generation targeted drug ositinib, and clinical studies have confirmed that they can benefit some patients. Poziotinib, on the other hand, is mainly used in lung cancer patients with EGFR20 mutations, and has also resulted in remission in some patients. CLN-081 is a targeted drug that broadly inhibits mutations in the EGFR gene, and preliminary study data suggest that it can lead to lung cancer disease remission in some patients. Lazertinib has been shown to be more effective in treating advanced lung cancer patients with EGFR mutation brain metastases. At present, these drugs have not been approved for use, and patients are advised to choose the listed drugs for active treatment under the guidance of doctors to avoid delaying the disease.
