Can bile polyps be eradicated with Chinese medicine?

The standardized name for gallbladder polyps is gallbladder polyps, and there is no clear evidence that Chinese medicine can eliminate gallbladder polyps. Gallbladder polyps are usually treated with surgery and other treatments, and Chinese medicine can only be used as an adjunctive treatment to improve symptoms. Gallbladder polyps are limited elevated lesions of the gallbladder mucosa, which in most cases are benign space-occupying lesions in the gallbladder lumen. The main clinical manifestation of gallbladder polyps is epigastric pain, which usually occurs after eating greasy food. Cholecystectomy is usually recommended when the size of gallbladder polyps is 10 mm and above, solitary and broad-based, and combined with gallbladder stones. Regular review of abdominal ultrasound is usually recommended for patients with no risk of malignancy, small gallbladder polyps and no obvious clinical symptoms. Gallbladder polyps can be treated with TCM to improve symptoms and promote recovery after cholecystectomy, but it does not have the effect of eradicating them. Patients diagnosed with gallbladder polyps who need to receive TCM-assisted treatment are recommended to go to a regular medical institution and follow the doctor’s instructions.
