The BI-RADS3 classification of breast nodules is the result of imaging tests such as breast ultrasound or mammogram. Grade 3 is benign lesions with less than 2% chance of malignancy, mostly seen in nodules or breast fibroids arising from cystic hyperplasia of the breast, which do not require special treatment, as follows: 1. Breast swelling and pain and lumps are found before menstruation, and the swelling and pain are reduced or disappeared after menstruation, and the lumps shrink or disappear, so clinical observation is sufficient; 2. If the symptoms are heavy or the pain does not decrease after the period, and the lump does not shrink or increase in size, oral medication can be used; 3. Progressive increase in breast fibroids, early surgical treatment. Clinical observation requires regular review of breast ultrasound or mammogram. If you are under 35 years old, you should review breast ultrasound once every 6 months to 1 year; if you are over 35 years old, it is recommended to review ultrasound and mammogram once every 2 years.
