What department to visit for tuberculosis screening

When examining tuberculosis, you can register with the Department of Infectious Diseases, because tuberculosis is a category B infectious disease in China, and you can do sputum examination and imaging first. Sputum examination can be done either by sputum culture or sputum smear. If Mycobacterium tuberculosis is detected in sputum culture or Mycobacterium antacidum (+) in sputum smear, it is considered as sputum (+). In addition, chest radiograph testing or lung CT can determine if you have TB by looking for specific lesions. Other ancillary tests include tuberculosis test, blood count, C-reactive protein and blood sedimentation, which also indicate active tuberculosis when the tuberculin test is strongly positive. Tuberculosis can be determined by clinical manifestations as well as laboratory tests, and can be divided into those with latent Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and active tuberculosis, and those with inactive tuberculosis.
