Symptoms of tendinitis of the wrist

Symptoms of wrist tenosynovitis include pain, swelling, restricted movement and other symptoms.
1. Pain: Due to the local inflammation of the wrist tendon sheath stimulating the surrounding tissues and nerves, patients may experience pain and discomfort in the wrist joint, and some patients may radiate to the fingertips.
2. Swelling: due to local inflammation, edema, exudation and other changes, the patient’s wrist joints may be swollen, local skin redness and other symptoms.
3. Restriction of activity: due to long-term inflammation, the patient’s wrist joint localized adhesion, in severe cases, the fingers can not be bent or straightening is limited. As a result, the range of motion of the wrist joint is restricted.
4. Other symptoms: some patients will have trigger finger and ringing finger when bending their fingers, and the long-term limitation of activities can lead to localized muscle atrophy.
