Dietary considerations for hyperthyroidism

  (1) Avoid spicy food: spicy seeds, raw onion, raw garlic; (2) Avoid seafood: kelp, shrimp, scallops, sea vegetables; (3) Avoid strong tea, coffee, tobacco and alcohol; (4) Keep a calm mood and prevent strain.  (5) eat more of the following foods: green cauliflower, kale sprouts, kale, white cauliflower, mustard leaves, peaches, pears, yellow turnips, soybeans, spinach, turnips.
