Myths about mastocytosis I

The prevalence of mastocytosis is one of the common diseases of the female breast, with a prevalence rate of about 80%, but there are many misconceptions about mastocytosis. Myth 1, mastocytosis can’t be cured, so it will naturally get better after giving birth or menopause. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are indeed beneficial to mastocytosis, and some mild hyperplasia, if it happens to be in time for pregnancy, has the possibility of healing itself after the breastfeeding period. However, not all enlargements can be cured by pregnancy and breastfeeding. Some breast enlargement can worsen during pregnancy, and breastfeeding and pregnancy can accelerate the development of the disease. Correct understanding: The recurrence of mastocytosis is due to the fact that there are more factors that cause hyperplasia, and some western drugs simply target only one cause in their treatment, without preventing and controlling other factors that may cause hyperplasia, which leads to the recurrence of hyperplasia.
