How long you can live after thymoma surgery depends on the pathological typing and staging of thymoma. Pathologic typing of thymoma is divided into type A, AB, B1, B2, B3 and C, and staging is divided into stage I, II, III and IV. Thymoma type A, AB generally belongs to stage I to II, and the 10-year survival rate after surgery can reach 100%, and the 10-year survival rate of thymoma type B1, B2 and B3 and stage III is about 70%. While stage IV and type C are thymic carcinomas, the general 10-year survival rate is about 10%.
