Rapid recognition of stroke and timely access to a hospital is the key to the treatment of acute cerebrovascular disease and the key to improving the quality of recovery. Therefore, time is brain, and the treatment of cerebrovascular disease must compete for time. I. Cincinnati Stroke Scale The method can be judged within 1 minute, which helps patients and family members to identify stroke in the fastest time. Symptom 1: smiling or showing teeth; normal: symmetrical facial movements on both sides; abnormal: crooked or drooping corners of the mouth on one side Symptom 2: eyes closed, both upper limbs straight ahead for 10 seconds; normal: consistent movements or no drooping of both upper limbs; abnormal: weakness or drooping of one upper limb Symptom 3: repeating phrases such as “eating grapes without spitting out their skins “Normal: correct wording and clear pronunciation; abnormal: wrong wording, slurred pronunciation or inability to speak Any of the above symptoms has a high probability of stroke. II. Some common manifestations of stroke Sudden onset of symptoms Weakness, clumsiness, heaviness or numbness of one limb (with or without face) Numbness of one side of the face or crookedness of the mouth Slurred speech or difficulty in understanding language Gaze of both eyes to one side Loss or blurring of vision in one or both eyes Rotation of vision or balance disturbance Previously rare severe headache, vomiting The above symptoms with impaired consciousness or convulsions
