Pulmonary metastasis symptoms of giant cell tumor of bone

As a low-grade malignant or junctional tumor, giant cell tumor of bone has a low rate of pulmonary metastasis. Only a small number of patients with giant cell tumor of bone develop pulmonary metastases, which are usually asymptomatic in the early stages and can only be detected by imaging with one or more small nodules in the lungs. When the nodules are large, patients may present with chest pain or cough. Therefore, patients should undergo regular lung imaging examinations, and metastases can be detected early by X-ray, especially by CT of the lungs. At present, some new drugs in medicine can effectively relieve the disease. Patients are advised to go to a specialist hospital in a timely manner and should not be treated blindly.
