Cardiac stents themselves have no effect on blood pressure. Coronary stenting, also known as cardiac stenting, is a commonly used mechanical interventional therapy that involves placing a stent in a narrowed coronary artery to keep the lumen of the coronary artery open to reduce the mortality rate of acute myocardial infarction. Cardiac stenting itself does not affect the patient’s blood pressure. If the patient’s blood pressure changes after cardiac stenting, it is considered to be related to the disease of the heart itself or related factors such as emotional excitement. After cardiac stenting, it is recommended to closely observe the heart rate and rhythm changes, and avoid emotional stress and over-exertion. If the patient develops uncomfortable symptoms such as changes in blood pressure, he/she should consult a doctor immediately to find out the cause so as to avoid delaying his/her condition.
