Six White Points are located on the back of the hand, between the second and fifth metacarpal bones, five minutes from the proximal end of the metacarpophalangeal joints at the Upper White Point, the Inner White Point and the Middle White Point, as well as one and a half inches from the proximal end of the metacarpophalangeal joints at the Fractal White Point, the Outer White Point, and the Lower White Point, respectively. Six White Points is a general term for six points on the back of the hand, namely, Upper White Point, Inner White Point, Middle White Point, Partial White Point, Outer White Point and Lower White Point, which belong to the Dong’s Qi Points, and are mainly used for the rehabilitation of the sequelae of a stroke or for the treatment of various painful disorders of the head, face, and trunk such as lumbago, headache, and arthralgia in conjunction with other acupuncture points.
