What’s wrong with sour teeth after scaling?

It is not uncommon for teeth to feel sore after scaling. It means that the patient’s oral hygiene itself is not very good, and there is a lot of plaque and calculus in the periodontium, and the calculus has covered a large part of the tooth tissue, especially the cervical part of the teeth. After scaling the teeth, the periodontal calculus is better cleaned and the relatively exposed part of dentin is exposed, so dentin sensitivity will occur. This sensitivity is normal and will be relieved naturally after a period of time. If the calculus is not cleaned, it will naturally extend towards the root and eventually lead to periodontitis, resulting in loosening of the tooth.
