What are the special drugs for pneumoconiosis

There is no special medicine for pneumoconiosis. Generally, bronchodilators, antiphlegm drugs and cough suppressants are applied to treat the symptoms of dyspnea, coughing and sputum caused by pneumoconiosis, and antibiotics can be applied to treat infections and other complications.
1.Symptomatic treatment
(1) Relieve dyspnea. Dyspnea is the earliest and most common symptom of pneumoconiosis patients, and with the aggravation of pulmonary fibrosis, dyspnea is also gradually aggravated, and it is generally necessary to apply bronchodilators for treatment, such as β₂ agonists such as albuterol aerosol, theophyllines such as aminophylline and anticholinergic drugs such as ipratropium bromide.
(2) Relief of cough and sputum. Pneumoconiosis is generally caused by the presence of dust in the lungs. Since the removal of dust by the respiratory system can cause sputum, coughing up sputum also belongs to the common symptoms of pneumoconiosis. Generally, expectorant drugs can be applied for treatment, such as proteolytic enzyme preparations like Serrapeptase, disulfide bond cleavage agents like Bromhexine.
(3) Relieve cough. The cough is not obvious in the early stage of pneumoconiosis, and can be aggravated after the disease progresses, and is treated by cough suppressants such as codeine and dextromethorphan.
(2) Treatment of complications. When combined with respiratory tract infection, amoxicillin, erythromycin and other antibiotics can be applied for treatment; combined with chronic obstructive pulmonary in addition to the application of aminophylline, salbutamol bronchodilator, ammonium chloride and other expectorants, etc., but also add fluticasone and other glucocorticosteroid medicines; combined with pneumothorax also need exhaust treatment, surgical treatment and so on.
Pneumoconiosis patients need to be treated with medicines under the guidance of doctors, and can also be treated with surgery, and should be detached from the dust environment in daily life.
