Multiple solid objects protruding into the lumen of the gallbladder wall are ultrasound findings, which may indicate the presence of gallbladder polyps, chronic cholecystitis, and possibly gallbladder cancer, and need to be judged according to the specific circumstances.
1. Gallbladder polyps: gallbladder polyps on ultrasound is also manifested as multiple solid-like objects protruding into the lumen of the gallbladder wall, medium intensity echo or hypoechoic lesions, but the morphology is mainly nodular or papillary.
2. Chronic cholecystitis: the ultrasound findings of chronic cholecystitis mostly suggest that there are multiple strongly echogenic nodular solid objects protruding from the gallbladder wall into the lumen, with no acoustic shadows, and they do not move with the body position.
3. Gallbladder cancer: Multiple solid-like objects protruding into the cavity of gallbladder wall is a common type of gallbladder cancer, which is manifested as the normal gallbladder cavity becoming narrow or disappearing, filled with echogenic or hypoechoic entities, protruding into the cavity of gallbladder from one side of the gallbladder wall, which is not smooth and has unclear boundary, and is often poorly demarcated from the liver.
There may be other reasons for multiple solid-like objects protruding from the gallbladder wall into the lumen, so it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, and then give targeted treatment or therapy.
