Is a blood test enough to check liver function?

Liver function test is basically just a blood test. Liver function tests are liver function tests that reflect the physiological functions of the liver, examine whether the liver is diseased or not, the degree of liver damage, diagnose the causes of liver diseases, determine the prognosis, and identify the type of jaundice. Liver function tests include protein metabolism, liver excretion and detoxification, bilirubin and bile acid metabolism, enzymes and lipid metabolism. The main indicators tested are total protein, globulin, albumin, glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, glutamic alanine transaminase, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, cholinesterase, and so on, which can be detected in blood. So basically all you need to do to check liver function is to take a blood test.
