How long to take the most quadruple drug for pyloric spirochetes

  H. pylori quadruple therapy is generally recommended for 14 days. H. pylori is associated with gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastric cancer, gastric mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma and other diseases. Once infected, if the patient has no clear contraindications, prompt radical treatment is recommended. Currently, a quadruple regimen is advocated, i.e. proton pump inhibitor + bismuth + 2 antibiotics, commonly used drugs such as rabeprazole, colloidal bismuth, amoxicillin, clarithromycin, etc. Doctors choose treatment drugs according to their experience, and the course of treatment is generally recommended to be 14 days, and the eradication rate can reach more than 90%. After 1 month of discontinuation, the C13 breath test for H. pylori needs to be repeated again. If the initial treatment fails, remedial treatment will be required on a case-by-case basis.
