What does BI-RADS4 mean?

BI-RADS4 class nodes refer to the score of breast hyperplasia nodules under breast ultrasound regarding the degree of benignity and malignancy, Birads4 class nodes can be divided into three cases: First, BI-RADS4a class nodes, which indicates that breast hyperplasia nodules are more likely to be benign, and less than 3% of hyperplasia nodules will become cancerous, so you can review breast ultrasound regularly and observe the changes of breast hyperplasia nodules regularly. When cancerous nodules are suspected, they should be removed surgically in time. Secondly, BI-RADS4b nodules indicate that about 20% of mammary hyperplasia nodules may become cancerous, so breast aspiration biopsy should be performed in time to clarify the benignity or malignancy of the nodules, and surgical excision should be performed when necessary. Thirdly, BI-RADS4c nodules are mostly considered as malignant nodules and should be immediately removed by surgery at regular hospital breast surgery or general surgery.
