Manifestations of peritoneal irritation sign

Peritoneal irritation signs are the main signs that appear after rupture of abdominal viscera and are commonly seen in the triad of abdominal pressure pain, abdominal rebound pain and abdominal muscle tension. Patients generally present with intolerable severe pain in the abdomen, profuse sweating, general weakness, and weakness, often arching the back and retracting the abdomen due to severe abdominal pain and abdominal wall tension, refusing to press on palpation of the abdomen, often with chest breathing, sometimes vomiting, and fever in infected patients, often caused by abdominal infection, peritoneal perforation, biliary obstruction or abdominal visceral hemorrhage. It is important to seek immediate medical attention and give comprehensive treatment such as anti-infection and surgery for the primary disease. If the disease is delayed, the risk of death is relatively high.
