Clinically, according to the different severity of lymph node inflammation, different treatment methods can be adopted. First, if the patient’s axillary lymph nodes are inflamed due to local hair follicle infection, the degree of inflammation at this time is mild, and the local lymph node inflammation can be controlled by applying topical Ruyi Jinhuang cream, Bactrim ointment or vital iodine gauze, etc. If necessary, oral amoxicillin can be taken to strengthen anti-infection treatment. In most patients, the local inflammation can be completely controlled after 3-5 days of treatment, and the enlarged lymph nodes can subside by themselves. Second, if the symptoms of lymph node inflammation are more serious, accompanied by local abscess formation, increased skin temperature and swelling and pain of the skin, patients need to perform abscess excision and drainage as soon as possible, remove local necrotic tissue and strengthen anti-infection treatment. In most patients, after 7-10 days of active treatment, the inflammation of lymph nodes can slowly recover without causing serious infection.
