Effects of Irbesartan Tablets

Irbesartan Tablet is used for the treatment of primary hypertension and type 2 diabetic nephropathy combined with hypertension. It can inhibit vasoconstriction and aldosterone release, thus achieving antihypertensive effect. When dilating glomerular arteries, Irbesartan contributes to the reduction of intraglomerular capsule pressure, which reduces proteinuria in patients with nephropathy, and also maintains the elasticity of renal blood vessels from sclerosis, thus relieving diabetic nephropathy. Irbesartan tablets can be taken alone or with diuretics or other antihypertensive drugs. Adverse reactions such as headache and dizziness may occur when taking Irbesartan. It should be noted that it is contraindicated for those who are allergic to the product. Be sure to follow your doctor’s instructions for medication.
