Memory development process is revealed! How to promote the development of baby’s memory?

Although researchers have claimed that individual human memory can occur during the fetal period, fetal memory is, after all, extremely limited and passive, and only after numerous repeated stimuli can it leave traces of memory in the fetal mind. Therefore, the development of individual memory mainly occurs after birth. The basic conditions of memory development in infants are: 1. They can recognize the bottle within the first month of life, and they get excited and thrilled when they see the bottle before feeding. 2.After 5~6 months, they can recognize their mothers, and when they see their mothers, their eyes shine, they focus their attention, and sometimes they make laughing sounds. 3.After 1 year old, they can recognize things that are a few days, ten days or tens of days apart. For their own parents, they can recognize them again even if they are separated by half a year or a year (but they must mention them often during the days when they are not around). 4.About 3 years old can recall what happened a few weeks ago. Since infants’ knowledge and life experience are limited and their comprehension ability is still very low, infants’ memory is mainly unintentional, but intentional memory is already in its budding state. Infants can already remember some things according to the requirements of adults, such as reciting some short old poems and children’s songs, remembering some simple actions and remembering to put toys in their original places under the requirements and guidance of adults. The memory ability and characteristics of infants are the prerequisite and foundation of early education. According to the memory characteristics of infants, parents can consciously teach infants some actions, such as singing, dancing and some basic life knowledge. However, it must be remembered that whatever is taught to the child, it must be done when the child is in a full mood, and that it should be taught through play or games, so that the child does not feel that it is a burden, but should learn to learn without realizing it.
