How to deal with blisters after a fracture

Blisters caused by fractures are due to bone bleeding and soft tissue damage, exudation, edema, and excessive tension after the fracture. Therefore, the treatment should be tailored to the cause. First, appropriate braking should be applied after the fracture occurs to avoid movement of the fracture end, which may cause secondary injury, and appropriate icing can be applied within 24-48 hours to reduce tissue bleeding as well as edema and exudation. Secondly, elevation of the affected limb can promote venous return and thus reduce local swelling. Then, on the basis of firm fixation, the distal and proximal ends of the fracture can be moved appropriately to promote venous return through muscle contraction, which can reduce edema. The main ingredients are ice chips and mannitol, which can be placed in a thin cloth bag to promote swelling reduction. Finally, you can take oral medications to reduce swelling, commonly used are Mai Zhi Ling, hydrochlorothiazide, tachyphylaxis tablets, etc. You can also inject diuretic drugs to reduce swelling, such as tachyphylaxis, mannitol, sodium heptachyoside, etc.
