There is no need to do any special treatment for small cysts on the kidney. For renal cyst, it is a benign lesion, which usually does not affect renal function and does not lead to cancer. For kidney cysts, less than 4cm is recommended to observe and wait mainly. If the cyst is between 4-5cm, it is recommended to review the ultrasound every 3-6 months to observe whether the cyst has increased in size. If the cyst is larger than 5cm, laparoscopic renal cyst decapitation and decompression surgery is recommended. For cysts, they must be differentiated from renal cancer and renal malignant tumor. Renal cancer is a malignant lesion that requires early surgery; renal staggered tumor is a benign lesion. There is a high density of fat echoes inside the malignant tumor; inside the cyst is a fluid dark area.
