Can chronic gastritis be treated with Morodan?

Chronic gastritis belongs to the category of “stomach pain” and “plumpness (stomach distension and discomfort)” in traditional Chinese medicine. Chronic gastritis caused by the lack of stomach qi and the deficiency of the spleen and stagnation of qi can be treated with Molodan.

Molodan is composed of Lily, Pu Huang, Diyu, Poria, Atractylodes macrocephala, Xuan Shen, Panax quinquefolii, Wu Yao, Jin Ji, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Acorus calamus, Dendrobium, Vinegar Yuan Hu, Angelica sinensis, Rhizoma Pinelliae, Ophiopogonis, Ze Xie, and so on. It has the effects of harmonizing the stomach and lowering rebelliousness (harmonizing the stomach qi and making the upward rebellious qi descend), strengthening the spleen and eliminating flatulence, and clearing the collaterals and fixing pain.

Clinically, Morodan can treat chronic gastritis in chronic atrophic gastritis manifested by abdominal distension, stomach pain, poor appetite, plumpness, belching (hiccups) and so on. You should not eat stimulating food and drink stimulating beverages while taking Morodan. Pregnant women need to take it with caution because it contains blood-activating medicinal ingredients.

If you have symptoms, you should take the medicine under the guidance of a professional physician, do not take the medicine blindly on your own, in order to avoid delaying the condition or producing adverse reactions.
