Rehabilitation of sympathetic cervical spondylosis

Rehabilitation methods for sympathetic cervical spondylosis include proper rest, rehabilitation exercises, physical assisted therapy and outdoor exercises.
1. Appropriate rest: patients should avoid overwork and correct bad habits. For example, avoid sitting and standing for a long time, as well as prolonged bowing of the head, pay attention to intervals of rest, appropriate movement of the shoulders and neck, and avoid prolonged maintenance of the flexed neck posture.
2. Rehabilitation exercise: the cervical spine and neck and shoulder muscles can be exercised to strengthen the muscle power, increase the normal cervical spine physiological curvature, and improve the stability of the cervical spine biomechanical structure. The specific way is to put both hands against the posterior cervical spine muscles. After 15-20 seconds of confrontation, relax for 2-5 seconds. Repeat the above operation. Exercise for 15-20 minutes each time, 2-4 times a day.
3. Physical assisted therapy: sitting or supine position pillow and jaw set traction can be used, generally in 5-6 kilograms, should not be too heavy. Traction time is generally 15-25 minutes, twice a day, 20-30 times for a course of treatment. Traction can reduce the compression and stimulation of sympathetic nerve fibers of intervertebral discs and leptomeningeal joints, which is conducive to functional recovery.
4. Outdoor exercise: such as swimming, kite flying and so on. It can improve the symptom of sympathetic nerve irritation caused by cervical disc herniation.
It is recommended that patients exercise under the guidance of a doctor, and not blindly operate on their own, so as not to cause aggravation of injury to the organism due to improper way.
