How long it usually takes for Kawasaki disease to clear up on its own

Kawasaki disease usually does not heal on its own. Kawasaki disease, also known as mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome, is caused by inflammation of blood vessels throughout the body, and if not diagnosed and treated in time, it may be combined with other complications and even other dangerous conditions.
The exact cause of Kawasaki disease has not been fully clarified. According to relevant studies, bacterial and viral infections may induce the disease. Genetic inheritance, for example, blood relatives who have suffered from liver disease are more likely to get the disease. The main symptoms include fever, skin rash, congestion of mucous membranes and enlarged lymph nodes.
Kawasaki disease does not usually go away on its own. Once symptoms of Kawasaki disease appear, it is recommended to go to the pediatrics department of a hospital or a pediatric cardiovascular specialist in a timely manner, and be given the appropriate medication with the doctor’s advice, or be treated through surgery.
