If one eye sees things distorted, it may be caused by neovascularization of macula of the fundus or refractive error, etc., which cannot be cured by itself and needs timely symptomatic treatment. Once you find that one eye is distorted, you should go to the ophthalmology department of a regular hospital and cooperate with a professional doctor to have a refractive status examination, so as to exclude refractive error in a timely manner.
If refractive error leads to distorted vision in one eye, which cannot be cured by itself, further dilated optometry should be performed to clearly diagnose whether it is true myopia or pseudomyopia. If it is true myopia, consider wearing frame glasses or surgical treatment to correct it; if it is pseudomyopia, follow the doctor’s instructions to correct it.
If neovascularization occurs in the macula of the fundus, resulting in distorted vision in one eye, the patient should be treated with intravitreal injection of Ranibizumab for anti-VEGF therapy.
