The period of flaccid paralysis after cerebral hemorrhage surgery refers to the period of flaccid paralysis that usually occurs in the early stage of the onset of cerebral hemorrhage, which is also called the shock period. The patient’s limbs will show decreased muscle strength, disappearance of tendon reflexes, negative pathological reflexes and so on.
Cerebral hemorrhage is a relatively common cerebrovascular disease that develops relatively quickly and causes various degrees of limb paralysis. Cerebral hemorrhage induces hemiparesis and the period of flaccid paralysis that exists is usually about 1 to 2 weeks.
If it lasts from one week to one month, it gradually transitions to a recovery phase called hard paralysis, in which the patient shows a decrease in muscle strength, an increase in muscle tone and a secondary increase in muscle tone, as well as positive pathological reflexes.
