What’s wrong with your stomach and head after eating?

The discomfort of a bloated head after eating may be caused by indigestion, consumption of gas-producing foods, and stomach diseases.
1. Indigestion: After the food enters the stomach, it needs to be digested and emptied. When indigestion occurs, the food is stored in the stomach for a longer period of time, and the prolonged retention of the food in the stomach stimulates the gastric mucous membrane and leads to bloating of the stomach, and at the same time, the fermentation of the food also produces a large amount of gas, which aggravates the bloating of the stomach.
2. Eating gas-producing food: Some people eat more gas-producing food, such as beans, onions, radish and other foods, after eating, the fermentation produces more gas, triggering bloating.
3. Stomach diseases: Some stomach diseases can lead to insufficient secretion of gastric acid, such as gastric ulcer, chronic gastritis, etc., or such as pyloric stenosis, which leads to food retention in the stomach. All of these can lead to slow emptying of the contents of the stomach, resulting in bloating.
After bloating, more blood will flow to the stomach, increasing blood flow to the stomach and promoting the secretion of digestive juices, and less blood will flow to the head, occurring dizziness, headaches and other symptoms of head discomfort.
