Patients experience sensitivity below the glans, mainly due to the skin qualities of the glans itself. The lower part of the glans mainly consists of the prepuce tether, which connects the body of the penis to the glans, and the tether itself has no special role. However, if there is a problem with the tether, it can cause erectile dysfunction. If the foreskin ties are short there is a risk of penile curvature and even pain during erection.
