What are the medicines for headaches

There are many causes of headache, commonly cranial brain lesions (such as infection, vascular lesions, etc.), extracranial lesions (such as craniosynostosis, neuralgia, etc.), systemic diseases (such as acute infections, poisoning, etc.), and psychosomatic factors (such as depression, anxiety, neurasthenia, etc.). Painkillers, tranquilizers or other medications can be chosen according to the different causes of the disease.
1. Painkillers: patients can use appropriate painkillers, including narcotic painkillers such as morphine, codeine, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin, ibuprofen and so on. Note that the use of narcotic painkillers may cause dependence; non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may cause gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and vomiting.
2. Sedatives: for those who are anxious and irritable, add sedatives such as diazepam and eszopiclone as appropriate; for those who are depressed, add antidepressants such as fluoxetine.
3. Other drugs: such as high cranial pressure to give dehydration diuretics (mannitol, etc.); low cranial pressure to give static push hypotonic fluid; dilated headache to give ergot preparation; superficial neuralgia can be used to close the treatment.
All of the above drugs should be taken under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used blindly or change the dosage, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
