When internal hemorrhoids first start, the symptoms are not obvious and are only detected during physical examination. However, as the nucleus of the hemorrhoid gradually increases in size, the symptoms will also gradually worsen. The common symptoms of internal hemorrhoids are as follows: 1. Blood in the stool or after the stool bleeding, bright red, sometimes with a small amount of blood on the surface of the stool, or stain the hand paper red, sometimes dripping or shooting blood. Due to the feces rubbed mucous membrane, or due to excessive force during defecation, the pressure in the blood vessels increased, resulting in the rupture of varicose veins, when the stool is jet bleeding. If the bleeding is repeated for a long time, or if there is a lot of bleeding for many times, it can also cause anemia. 2.Prolapse Because of the increase in the size of the hemorrhoid nucleus, it is squeezed by the feces during defecation, so that it gradually separates from the muscle layer and comes out of the anus, sometimes 1-2 hemorrhoid nuclei come out at the same time, and sometimes all of them come out together with the rectal mucosa. Initially, the hemorrhoid only comes out during defecation and can be reset by itself after defecation. If the symptoms are more severe, the hemorrhoids need to be pushed back by hand or rest in bed before they can be reset. For those with serious symptoms, in addition to prolapsing when defecating, they may prolapse when exerting force, walking, coughing, sneezing, squatting, etc. The prolapsed hemorrhoid is easily infected, and every time due to inflammation, edema and pain, it becomes embedded, making it difficult to reset. 3, pain Simple internal hemorrhoids, generally no pain, sometimes only feel the anal part of the swelling or defecation difficulties. If the hemorrhoid is inflamed and swollen, if there is a thrombosis or embedded in the hemorrhoid, there will be pain; if the hemorrhoid is not reset in time, the pain will be aggravated; if the embedded occurs, there is ulceration and necrosis, causing inflammation and edema at the anal edge, the pain will be severe and the patient will be restless. 4.Mucus outflow The rectal mucosa is stimulated by the hemorrhoid nucleus for a long time, causing an increase in secretion; in late internal hemorrhoids, there is often secretion outflow from the anus because of the relaxation of the anal sphincter. In the lighter cases, the secretion flows out when you have a bowel movement, and in the heavier cases, it flows out naturally even when you don’t have a bowel movement, polluting your underwear and making it extremely inconvenient for the patient. When the internal hemorrhoid is prolapsed, the secretion is even more. 5, itching The stimulation of secretions or prolapsed hemorrhoid nuclei makes the area around the anus moist and unclean, and eczema and itching occur. itching is sometimes caused by the prolapsed internal hemorrhoids due to reflex action. 6, internal hemorrhoid attack Internal hemorrhoids usually have mild symptoms, no great pain, such as constipation or diarrhea, or too much strain, it will suddenly aggravate, called internal hemorrhoid attack. During an internal hemorrhoid attack, the nucleus of the hemorrhoid suddenly swells, protrudes, burns, and is painful, with the sensation of pulsation and foreign body filling. Due to the pressure of dry stool, the hemorrhoid is prone to break down and bleed, and it is very urgent. The attack lasts for 3-5 days, and if treated properly, the swelling gradually dissipates, the thrombus is absorbed, and the hemorrhoid nucleus becomes softer and smaller. Sometimes the swelling does not dissipate and the hemorrhoid nucleus can become necrotic due to infection, pus, ulceration or obstruction of blood circulation.
