What is the condition of a hard lump at the cervical opening when you feel it with your hand?

Under normal circumstances, when a woman’s hand enters the vagina and touches something hard, it should be the cervix. Patients do not have anatomical knowledge nor clinical experience to perform touching and have no way to distinguish between normal cervix and abnormal tumor tissue, so it is easy to confuse the situation. It is better for the patient to do gynecological examination to see. If only normal cervix is seen when doing gynecological examination, it proves that there is no abnormality in the cervix that the patient touches; if there is a hard mass with hard texture found in gynecological examination, it is mainly considered submucosal fibroid or cervical tumor. In this case, cervical tumor biopsy must be done, and indeed submucosal fibroids can be directly surgically removed, while malignant tumors should be selected for surgical treatment or radiotherapy according to tumor stage.
