How to treat Damp Heat and Dampness

Damp-heat includes liver and gallbladder damp-heat (damp-heat evils accumulated in the liver and gallbladder), spleen and stomach damp-heat (spleen and stomach feeling damp-heat evils), etc. Damp-heat and damp-poisoning can be treated by taking Ping Ulcer San, Longdian Diarrheal Liver Pill, and Damp-Toxin Clearing Tablet.
Ping Ulcer San is composed of cypress, atractylodes, cuttlebone, etc. It can treat peptic ulcer, chronic gastritis and reflux esophagitis caused by damp-heat in the spleen and stomach. The contraindications and adverse reactions of the drug are not clear.
Longdian Diarrhea Liver Pill is composed of Psyllium, Radix et Rhizoma Shengdi, and Gentian Herb, which can treat dry mouth and bitter mouth, pain in the coarseness and ribs, yellow urine, and irregular bowel movements (abnormal stools) caused by damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this drug are not exact.
Dampness Toxin Clearing Tablet is composed of Salvia miltiorrhiza, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae, etc. It can dissolve dampness and detoxify toxin, nourish blood and moisten dryness, dispel wind and stop itching (stopping itching by dispelling wind evils that invade the muscular surface), and is used for the treatment of itchy skin due to dampness toxin and concomitant blood deficiency. The drug is contraindicated in pregnant women and the adverse effects are not exact.
