Symptoms of Chlamydia Positive in Men

A positive Chlamydia in men can be diagnosed as a non-gonococcal urethritis. It is a sexually transmitted disease, most of which is caused by unclean sexual contact. When the infection occurs, symptoms such as itching, pain, frequent and urgent urination in the urethra can occur. It is also accompanied by a thin yellow or white discharge from the urethra, which can sometimes appear as a dry, crusty discharge that stains the urethra and is detected on the underwear. When the diagnosis is confirmed, active treatment is required. The drug of choice is azithromycin for injection, 0.5g intravenous drip, once daily for 7-10 days, or oral roxithromycin capsules 0.15g, twice daily for two weeks. Alcohol and sexual intercourse are contraindicated during the treatment period to avoid transmission from sexual partners.
